Abstract
|
|
|
A study was carried out to determine the maternal intrapartum risk factors and influencin to their newborn babies to be associated with an obstetric risk of mother, The method used to for the collection of data was on "Simplified Intrapartum Risk Scoring System. "
the sample was collected from medical record of 332 mothers to be deliveried in obstetric unit, Chosun University Hospital from January to December 1983, The results of the study were as follows:
1. The f reguency of intrapartum high risk pregnancy was 55. M o and pregnant women in the investigation item of 552 one women has the risk factor of 1.66.
2. In correlation of pregnant women risk score and the -newborn Apgar Score, the higher risk score is the lower Apgar Score is.
3. The pregnant women of 90.4% deliveried the normal birth weight of 2500g or more, and the higher intrapartum rise score is the higher frequency of low birth weight is.
4. In correlation of pregnant women risk score and gestational age, the result showed the high risk scored women gave birth delayed or too much earlier regarding normal gestational age.
5. The incidence of parinatal death was included all of them in high risk score group.
